Ah devastating!
I only managed to see CVC once, and that was when I didn't know much lyrics! Would have loved to made my way to one more gig to show off my wonderful voice... ;)
Anyway, it has been a great journey and it has to be said that it was nice to see Jon all that bit smart!
I’ll miss those suits :’(
Good luck with your album Lou!
And for Lewis, Will, Ross and the Velvet Horns you will be missed!
Jon, just be Jon.

With all due respect, how many duet records could they really make ?

Aye. This is going to be Mrs nothername' first gig as well. It'd be a real shame if it was to be her last. :(

Me & Mrs nothername could easily settle for 'nother album, maybe 2. :)

I've never been in the music business, but I can only imagine it's not met without its challenges. All I know is that I love the music. Jon and Lou, I (and I know I'm not alone) would love to hear you make more music together, but as you go your separate ways I'll follow you both.

Lou, you are the amazing one, and you're anything but a "disappointment." There's a reason people adore you. You are a delightful young lady with lots of class and talent.

Jon, there's a reason people adore you too, but I don't think it's your choice of analogies (sorry . . . just teasing). Seriously, Jon, you've got talent, heart and soul. You are one of a kind, musically and otherwise.

I love this band and I always will. Please just don't say never, because you never know.

I wasn't expecting to, but the CVC album proved a delicious surprise in an otherwise dire for music 2009. Songs like 'I Would Send You Roses', 'The Black Roses', 'Time', 'Little Sister' and the fantastic 'I Wish My Daddy' will always be amongst my favourites.

I could get angry like I did when 'Here We Stand' didn't get enough recognition and wonder why we have the likes of Chav Dubz topping the charts when Vanity Kills doesn't make the Top 100 but if it doesn't anger Jon why should it anger me. The quality of the music doesn't change because of the chart position.

Glad Sharon & I got to see you 'Live In Leeds' last December and am looking forward to the solo stuff.

Cheers,

Tony

Just found out last night that CVC are splitting..OMG just as I was thinking they are the best new band and could go places....The gig at QMU was fab as usual but Lou and Jon did seem a wee bit supressed not their usual bubbly selves together.
My son of 13 came with us and thought they were great.
Glad we got Kilmarnock tickets to see the last gig...boohoohoo!!!!!

Good luck Jon and Lou to your futures and do hope you get together again later on after your solo events.
You are BOTH GREAT!!!!!So talented.

I don't see why they need to split , i saw them in Dundee and it was a brilliant gig . It wasn't that busy but so what. The band looked like they were having a lot of fun , the music was brilliant. Lou & Jon are great together. Perfect even. Ach bet they will be back. :)
