| Jon is far too creative to stay with just one band or style of music. However, I think he is making a big mistake in the way he is doing things if he wants a long and successful career in the music business. I think it would have been wise to stay with The Fratellis, continue to make music with them, then do whatever else he wanted to do as side projects. That way he keeps his original fan base and just adds to it with the other projects. Just a thought, I bet the song "Vanity Kills" played by The Fratellis would have been a hit to rival "Chelsea Dagger." Although I think that Jon's songs with CVC are great and Lou's singing is wonderful, the rest of the CVC band sounds far too ordinary for my taste. I'm not saying that they are not good players. They just sound like studio musicians to me, generic. |
